Miss Eleanor Week [Helena Hill Weed in an earlier time, possibly as a student]

Hill was a graduate of Vassar College and Montana School of Mines.  She was a geologist, daughter of a member of Congress, and a vice-president of the DAR.  She was a prominent member of the Congressional Union for Woman Suffrage and the National Woman’s Party.  She was one of the first pickets arrested 7.4.1917 and served 3 days in District Jail. In 1.1918 she was arrested for applauding in court and sentenced to 24 hrs., and in 8.1918 she was arrested for participating in a Lafayette Sq. meeting and sentenced to 15 days.
